over the last SEVEN years, i’ve had the honor of speaking to hundreds of aspiring and new entpreneurs — from college classrooms to private seminars, Public speaking has become an impactful part of my life and career. I truly love being able to connect with people and it gives me immeasurable joy to share my knowledge with others.

If you are interested in having me speak at an event, email me. For up-to-date information about upcoming speaking events, follow me on Facebook and instagram.

rates & availability

Speaking rates vary depending on the type of event and the amount of travel and preparation required. If travel is required, It is assumed that all air travel / hotel / car travel will be paid for by the event organizers. I will not pay out-of-pocket to travel to an event for an engagement. On top of these basic accommodations, a speaking fee will be agreed upon. I’ve used a few different frameworks for establishing a flexible speaking rate.

The first is the “flat fee” model, which uses a flat number as the speaking rate. There is usually an increase each year, so the speaking fee for 2023 may be more than it is right now for 2022. The flat fee for speaking engagements may also be different if the event is international. The second framework is based on a “per person fee”,

(in which the rate on the day I speak is calculated by the number of attendees, meaning the price for speaking at a conference with 500 attendees would be more than an intimate retreat with 50 attendees. Finally, for some events, particularly non-profit and/or college visits, I may speak for free or for a non-competitive rate. This is usually designated to non-profit organizations and school visits.

When it comes to availability, this can vary depending on what projects I have on my plate. I prioritize events that allow me to have the maximum impact with minimum time away from my family. It is easier for me to travel during the work week than on weekends, and for the time being I am unavailable for events that require being away for more than 2-3 days.

school visits

I love visiting schools and talking to young students about my career as a “business person”. Financial literary and entrepreneurship have become increasingly popular, even amongst children, yet there is no standardized business curriculum in primary or secondary school to cater to these new interests.

Generally, for these events, I have a 30 minute presentation which focuses on encouraging children to start their own business, as well

as providing a simple structure to help them understand the most important components of business.

The presentation includes a live demo and group activities. This talk is geared, specifically, toward a young audience and I’ve always had a great time speaking to students between fourth grade and twelfth grade.
